SANTÉ MENTALEL
LE TABOU QUI FAIT MAL
PROJECT: Editorial / Issue 830

YEAR: 2021
Emerging from a dreamlike landscape charged with symbolism and emotional tension, these works give visual form to the invisible weight of mental health. The compositions unfold as psychological environments in which the human figure exists at the intersection of vulnerability and resilience, surrounded by gestures, objects, and natural elements that embody pressure, uncertainty, and internal dialogue. Hands extend, offer, and demand, suggesting the constant negotiation between external expectations and inner needs, while shells, dice, and organic forms allude to chance, control, and the unpredictability of emotional states. The figures’ postures communicate self protection and introspection, revealing the quiet labor of holding oneself together. Nature operates as both sanctuary and reflection, reinforcing the cyclical nature of healing and fragility. Together, the works transform mental health into a shared, dignified experience, rejecting stigma and reframing emotional struggle as a space of awareness, care, and human depth.
